In some alternate universe there’s a me who actually has time to read and watch every anime/manga series I wish that I could. *sigh*

So…The linked page lists no such official details such as officially being that arc or release date….but I’ll leave this in hope.

Alright in terms of proof this is all I could find at the moment; someone mentioning the release date (Spring 2017) and a logo in a blog entry of an hour ago…it must have been on television.

The theatre community is finally catching up with the way the world works. We’re already seen as pompous and rich because theatre can only appeal to people with the resources and time to get to New York and buy $100+ tickets. 

Now a small town, middle class kid can get to be touched by and fall in with theatre. We don’t need to watch shitty, illegal bootlegs to see great shows! There’s not to many shows up right now, but hopefully producers will realize how smart this is and put more hows up. Support this amazing site!

The new musical “Hakuouki – Reimeiroku” has been set for May/June of this year. Performances once again will be in Tokyo and Kyoto. 

Sadly, it appears the Hirose Daisuke will not be returning as Okita Souji, as another tweet by Aramaki Yoshihiko announced that he would be appearing in the musical as Souji. 

Here’s my two cents. I am very sad that we’ll be getting an utterly new cast, but I am honestly more sad that we skipped Sano Hen, my favorite character. But then I thought about it more. Everyone has been doing this for years (most of them anyway), and have other projects that I’m sure they want to give their attention to as well. I want them to be happy. And also, maybe this is the company’s way of getting the new cast used to Hakuouki before throwing them into Sano hen? If that’s the case, then full approval.

And new cast, new energy right? I have faith. That they’re still going to do Sano Hen

At any rate, we’re putting in for tickets so I’ll keep you updated.
